Colour vs. Black & White Images / Grimsby Boudoir Photographer

There is something just so evocative about an image in black & white. I can push the shadows to deepen the moodiness of a pose while keeping that softness that is so lovely with boudoir, and that doesn’t always translate in colour.

When editing a gallery I find it is so important to find the balance of the two, while giving special attention to each and every image. I never slap on a filter and call it a day, I let the artistic process take hold and guide me. It might sound silly, but it’s true!

This gallery is a perfect example of the variety you can expect when receiving your images. Now tell me in the comments, if you had to pick, are your favourite in colour or B&W?

Photos of a beautiful hometown friend who answered my model call earlier in the year and made some magic with me. So grateful for you, Nicole!
